Future Stars 2011 took place at Brunel University from 7th -10th July. The event included an Inernational Junior Tournament, Coaching Clinic and Community event. The Future Stars 2011 event saw the introduction of the partnership with Teenage Cancer Trust with fund raising activities taking place throughout the duration of the event and all proceeds of the event donated to the charity.
Future Stars International Tournament 2011 London
The Future Stars 2011 International Junior Basketball Tournament took place in London at Brunel University from the 8th to 10th of July 2011. The tournament included NAtional U18 teams from Sweden, Slovenia, Netherlands, England in addition to a US Select team and London United Harefield Academy which included representtion of the top talent from the Greater London area.
The Tournament was won by the impressive national U18 team from Slovenia, led by the MVP of the tournament Luka Rupnk.

Future Stars Coaching Clinic London 2011
The Future Stars coaching clinic took place on Saturday 9th July had the coaching and development of young players at its centre. The Future Stars Coaching Clinic provided a platform for coaches with a proven track record from acros Europe and the US to share the secrets of their great success.
The Clinic featured Olle Lunden, the curent Swedish national U18 Head coach who led the Swedish junior team to victory in the 2009 FIBA U19 European Championship Division B. The other keynote speakers included Johan Roijakkers and Džemo Ibiši the curent head coach of the Netherlands and Slovenian U18 National teams repsectively. In addition American coaching philosophy was represented by Robert Deshields, Head Coach of the US Select team.

Future Stars Community Event 2011
Future Stars was designed with the idea in mind that all people involved in the sport of basketball could find a form of active participation. Future Stars 2011 London provided the opportunity for young aspiring local basketball players to actively participate in the Future Stars weekend. To capture the expertise of the top International coaches from across Europe who brought their National teams to participate in the Future Stars International Tournament, training and coaching sessions were provided for the local youngsters. These training sessions were led by the National coaches with a proven track record across Europe providing the local youngsters with the opportunity to benefit from the high level coaching that lies ahead of them as potential future stars.
