Future Stars are delighted to be able to introduce 5 Elite Basketball Academy as debutants to the Future Stars U18 International Tournament. The Irish Academy are renowned for the development of young players and will bring among their squad a massive number of Irish international Players.
Fred Kilmas and Declan Ehigie are just recently back from representing Ireland in U18 FIBA Youth EuroBasket. The remaining squad members consist primarily of Irish U17 Squad members which recently took home the Gold in the Home Nations tournament, which was capped with an impressive victory over England. Academy owner Ciaran Kiveney said “We at the Academy are delighted to be able to compete in this prestigious tournament and in doing so we hope to highlight all the great work being done in Irish Basketball to get players to this competitive level”.
