Future Stars International Tournament returns for 2019 and will feature truly great European clubs boasting a rich history in developing talent including Maccabi Teddy Tel Aviv (Final 8 Euroleague ANGT 2019), Rytas Vilnius (Euroleague ANGT 2018 Winner), Porsche Ludwigsburg, Oxygen Orange 1 Basket and the U18 England National Team.

Gintreda Future Stars 2019 will take place over the weekend of 30th August to 1st September 2019 at Brunel University, London.
The tournament will be an opportunity to watch some of the top junior European talent in action. Previous editions of the tournament were graced by current NBA and Euroleague stars such as Jan Vesely, Rudy Gobbert, Tomas Satoransky, Dario Saric, Nicolo Meli and Pierre Oriola and we are sure that the current crop of talent will follow an equally illustrious path.

The England National Team have an explosive group of backcourt players. Cameron Hildreth (MVP of the U16 National Finals with 48 points in the playoff title) and Josh Udjuje are two exiting shooting guards with excellent scoring capabilities. besides being able to shoot from anywhere they both have good dribbling, passing and court vision.
In the font court the players to watch are Amari Williams and Ndewedo Newbury, two athletic and dynamic players who play above the rim, can perform at high speeds and rely on strength, power and agility to finish at the rim.
Oxygen Orange 1 Basket bring with them Matteo Tersillo (G/194cm) who has competed in both U16 and U18 National Finals in addition to experience in Bassano with first team competing in C-Gold.
Nemanja Gajic (G/195cm) a Serbian player recruited by Oxygen at a young age and has developed into the leader of their team. Gajic brings a high basketball IQ with experience in both junior and senior championships. Matteo Bogliardi (G/185cm) brings Italian National team experience to Oxygen Orange 1 Basket, having competed in the U16 European championships.
Adding incredible athletic abilities to Oxygen is Destiny Agbamu (SF/200cm originally from Nigeria) who will play an important role in the team. Agbamu was named to the All Star team in both U16 and U18 National Finals.
Porsche Ludwigsburg will be led by Ariel Hukporti (213 cm) who at the age of 16 has already played in both the FIBA Champions League and German BBL. Hukporti will be supported by two versatile forwards Aeneas Jung ( 201 cm) and George Christian Cotoaras (205 cm) who represent Cyprus and Romania respectively. The team will heavily rely on point guard Lucas Herzog (187 cm) who also brings experience from the German BBL.
Rytas Vilnius will be led by the son of legendary Sarunas Marciulonis, Augustas Marciulionis (192 cm guard) who represented Lithuania at the Fiba U18 European Championship 2019 averaging 8.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists. Another Lithuanian National Team player in action will be Ąžuolas Tubelis (205 cm) forward who averaged 14.9 points, 12.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists for his national team which finished in 7th place.
Further strengthening the Rytas Vilnius squad is Greek sensation Andreas Kalogiros (203 cm) who is still only 16 years old but effectively could play at both shooting guard and forward positions. Kalogiros represented Greece at the U-18 European Championship in 2019 and has also played for the Greece U-16 team in the European Championship in 2018 where he averaged 13.1 points, 10.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists. Kalogiros was invited to the NBA and FIBA ‘Basketball without Borders’ talent camp this year.
Maccabi Tel Aviv will mostly rely on Amit Aharoni (185) and Yehunatan Atias (207 cm) who led the Israel U-18 National Team to first place in the European Championship Division B in 2019. The Israeli champions will also look for a solid contribution from Harel Rinski and Yanir Gadot who are members of the Israeli U-16 National team.
